Fields of research: Convolutional Neural Networks, User-personalized decisions
Franz is a first year Master student from Lima, Peru. He is interested in the development of intelligent companion robots and in “design” concepts for the future. He has submerged in the field of Deep Learning since his first year at university and is currently developing a companion robot that recognizes moments of required assistance with an adaptive behavior for providing care in rehabilitation.
He takes into consideration psychological models for characterizing the response of the robot.
For the concrete application of deep learning models, he is developing in parallel a new version of the “iPhonoid” (Laboratory’s smart robot concept).
Keywords: Companion robots, Human activities recognition, intention recognition
